Farsha Mountain Lounge

Sharm El Sheikh's celebrated cliffside lounge on the Hadaba headland, terraced into the rock above the sea, with lantern-lit nooks and cushioned seating.

Farsha, also known as Farsha Café, is built into the cliffs of the Hadaba headland at Ras Um Sid, its terraces stepping down the rock towards the sea. Every level is a different nook of cushions, rugs, lanterns and found objects, so that the whole place feels assembled rather than designed. It is a lounge more than a restaurant: guests come for drinks, shisha and something light, for the view out over the water towards the Strait of Tiran, and above all for sunset and the hours after dark, when the lanterns are lit.
