Nightclub
- Iconic
New York's legendary Latin nightclub, opened in 1940 and immortalised in song, now dancing on three floors in Hell's Kitchen.
The Copacabana opened on East 60th Street in November 1940 and became one of the most famous nightclubs in America, where Martin and Lewis made their New York debut, Sammy Davis Jr. set attendance records and the Supremes appeared in 1965; Barry Manilow's 1978 hit 'Copacabana (At the Copa)' is set there. After several moves and the closure of its Times Square home in 2020, the club reopened in February 2022 at 625 West 51st Street, where Latin, reggaeton and salsa nights now fill three floors.
