Jazz Club
- Iconic
Georgetown's historic jazz supper club, founded in 1965 and hidden down a brick alley off Wisconsin Avenue.
Founded in 1965, Blues Alley describes itself as the nation's oldest continuing jazz supper club. Tucked down a brick alley in Georgetown, the intimate room has hosted artists from Dizzy Gillespie, Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald to Eva Cassidy, whose live recording there became a celebrated album. Shows are ticketed, and Creole cuisine, steaks and seafood are served during the performances.
Luxio Perspective
Book the artist rather than the night, arrive early for a good table, and make an evening of dinner and the show.
