Versailles has served Cuban home cooking on Calle Ocho since 1971 and remains the gathering place of Miami's Cuban community. The mirrored dining room serves classics such as ropa vieja, picadillo, lechón asado and the Cuban sandwich, while the ventanita at the side of the building pours cafecito and cortaditos to a steady line of locals. Its bakery next door sells croquetas and pastelitos to take away.
