P.J. Clarke's has stood on Third Avenue at 55th Street since 1884, making it one of the oldest continuously operating bars and restaurants in New York City. Its small red-brick building, long a favourite of diners such as Frank Sinatra and Jackie Onassis, serves classic American bar food, from its Cadillac Burger to a fresh oyster bar, in a richly historic saloon setting.
