The historic dining room of El Tovar, opened in 1905 on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
El Tovar opened in 1905 on the very rim of the Grand Canyon, designed by Charles Whittlesey in local limestone and Oregon pine for the Fred Harvey Company and the Santa Fe Railway; it is now a National Historic Landmark. Its dining room offers a classic fine-dining experience for breakfast, lunch and dinner, a short walk from the canyon's edge.
