U.S. Capitol Guided Tour

Inside the seat of Congress

Free guided tours of the United States Capitol begin at the Capitol Visitor Center. Visitor guides lead groups through the Crypt, the great Rotunda beneath the Capitol Dome, and National Statuary Hall, the former chamber of the House of Representatives, telling the story of the building and of the legislature that meets there. The Visitor Center's exhibitions can be explored before or after the tour.
