Shark Valley Tram Tour — Everglades National Park
Miami · Florida
Wildlife Experience
Into the river of grass
From the Shark Valley entrance of Everglades National Park on the Tamiami Trail, open-air trams follow a 15-mile paved loop through sawgrass prairie and tree islands, with naturalist narration on the ecology of the Everglades. Alligators, turtles and wading birds such as herons, egrets and anhingas are often seen close to the road. Halfway round, the tram stops at a 65-foot observation tower for a sweeping view across the wetlands.
