The New Orleans Steamboat Company has carried visitors along the Mississippi from the French Quarter riverfront for decades. Its Evening Jazz Cruise boards at the foot of Toulouse Street and heads out onto the river as the city lights come on, with a live jazz band on board, handcrafted cocktails and an optional buffet of Creole classics. The cruises are normally sailed by the Steamboat NATCHEZ; while the NATCHEZ is out of service for renovation, her sister vessel, the paddlewheeler Riverboat CITY of NEW ORLEANS, operates all cruises.
