In winter the Forest Service closes Maroon Creek Road to the public, and a guided snowmobile ride is one of the few ways to reach the view of the Maroon Bells in snow season. T-Lazy-7 Ranch, a family-run ranch on Maroon Creek Road since 1938, leads guided tours through the White River National Forest under a Forest Service permit, a quiet, wintry version of one of Colorado's most-photographed views.
