Diamond Head Summit Hike

Above Waikīkī

The Diamond Head Summit Trail climbs from the floor of Lēʻahi, the volcanic tuff cone behind Waikīkī, to the historic fire-control station on its rim. The 0.8-mile trail gains about 560 feet through switchbacks, stairs and a tunnel, ending at a summit with sweeping views across Waikīkī, Honolulu and the ocean.
