Chicago Architecture Center River Cruise
Chicago · Illinois
Boat Tour
Chicago's skyline from the water
Chicago changed the history of architecture, and the river is the best seat from which to understand it. This 90-minute cruise is led by the Chicago Architecture Center's expertly trained volunteer docents aboard First Lady, sailing from the dock beside the Michigan Avenue Bridge. As the boat moves along the river, the docent explains the landmark towers, bridges and stories that shaped the city, from the Wrigley Building to the latest additions to the skyline. Guests can sit in the climate-controlled cabin or on the open-air decks.
