Giza in a single day

Flying from Sharm El Sheikh makes it possible to see the Giza Plateau in one long day. On the edge of Cairo, the Pyramids of Giza, the last surviving wonder of the ancient world, rise above the desert beside the Great Sphinx, carved from the bedrock of the plateau some four and a half thousand years ago.
